Rodney Bell Wins Inaugural Gro-UP Old 600 Mods Main Event

Unionville, MI rider, Rodney Bell took the lead away from Troy DeWald on Lap 4 of the 15-Lap Gro-UP Old 600 Mods Feature and pulled away to the biggest Win of his career and a $1,500 payday

The 47-year-old Bell, aboard his #25 Weiss Equipment / BELL Racing / Polaris Snowmobiles machine was the winner over DeWald who finished second ahead of Billy Skea as Aaron Mayer and Tyler Town completed the Top Five

Earlier in the day, Kevin Bouman established the Track Record for the newest division of the #SooI500 when he turned in the fastest lap, overall, of the entire Race Week with a 39.204 = 91.827mph. Bell and DeWald would win the Qualifier Heat Races to transfer into the Feature and secure the Front Row Starting Positions in the Main Event of the evening
