Troy DeWald Wins Inaugural I.S.R. Formula III Feature At The #SooI500

Troy DeWald, the three-time and defending International 500 Snowmobile Race Winner, added his name again to the #SooI500 record books by winning the Inaugural International Snowmobile Racing, Inc. (I.S.R.) Formula III Feature to kick off Opening Day / Bud Clarke Day at the 52nd annual International 500 Snowmobile Race.

The 50-year-old rider from AuGres, MI aboard his Cadarette Collision Racing #21 / Arctic Cat – Snowmobiles machine led from start to finish to begin the #SooI500 Weekend on a winning note.

Earlier in the day, Jake Gerow won the Fast Qualifier Award and established the I.S.R. Formula III Track Record in the process with a lap measured at a 40.590 = 88.692mph. Gerow would also win the Heat Race



Earlier in the Afternoon in Rounds I & II of #SooI500 Qualifying, Luke Krentz topped the charts in Round I with a 40.204 = 89.543mph while DeWald would eclipse his mark in Round II with a 39.873 = 90.287mph.

Lastly, in Round I Qualifying for the Inaugural Meijer Pro Shootout, Krentz would lead the way with a 40.407= 89.093mph
