One of the most popular events of International 500 Snowmobile Race Week happens during the official Opening Day/Bud Clarke Day at the track on Monday, January 28 as aspiring young riders get their chance to race in their very own events every year as the 2019 Jimmy John’s Mini-500 Snowmobile Races start at 7:30p.m.
The races takes place on a mini version of the famed one-mile oval ice course located at a designated area in the Upper Level Parking Lot.
This popular event was moved from Friday of Race Week to Monday in 2017 and has become an even bigger attraction during #SooI500 Race Week. Plus, it’s absolutely FREE to attend.
The three classes – Kitty Cat, Stock 120, and Modified 120 all compete, but everyone goes home a winner!
