Exciting new Qualifying news for the 48th Annual I-500:
Qualifying sessions will happen each day Tuesday ,Wednesday ,and Thursday and the Pole Speed may be set during any qualifying session.
The Top 30 machines will be locked into the field through these sessions.
Thursday Night’s I-500 Final Qualifying Shootout will be a 15-lap race(s) with the Top Eight (8) transferring into the 48th Annual I-500.
If weather/ track conditions or safety are an issue, then officials will revert back to Top 38 locked in on Qualifying speeds.
